And now, a minute with the Word…

In light of the coming judgment and destruction of this world, do I consider what sort of person I should be? As a child of God I am to be different from those around me. I am to not live the same sort of lifestyle as people of the world (1 Peter 4.4) and I am not to love the world or the things in this world because the world is passing away (1 John 2.15-17). I am to make every effort to be found without spot or blemish in God’s sight (2 Peter 3.14). Let me pursue holiness in this present life — because without it I will not see the Lord (Hebrews 12.14).
