And now, a minute with the Word…

The gospel of John begins by describing who Jesus is and why he came down. He left God’s side in heaven to give us the ability to become children of God. John the Baptist testified about Jesus proclaiming that He was the Christ, the Lamb of God. Everything from Genesis throughout all time had been leading to this moment in time. The one constant struggle that mankind has shared is sin. John proclaims that the Lamb of God is the one who can take away sin from the world. The gospel writer is going to share evidence that proves that Jesus is the Christ, that He is the Lamb of God.
