And now, a minute with the Word…

Temple reconstruction had lain dormant for ten years; but “the prophets, Haggai and Zechariah…prophesied to the Jews who were in Judah and Jerusalem, in the name of the God of Israel who was over them. Then Zerubbabel the son of Shealtiel and Jeshua the son of Jozadak arose and began to rebuild the house of God that is in Jerusalem, and the prophets of God were with them, supporting them” (Ezra 5.1-2). When we question if one or two or few can make a difference in others’ lives — in a family, a local church, or a nation — remember Haggai and Zechariah, because the Lord can “save by many or by few” (1 Samuel 14.6).
