And now, a minute with the word…

One thing that impresses me as I read Nehemiah 3 is the coordination and the complimentary work efforts of the people. Not one person, nor one small group of people rebuilt the wall of Jerusalem. Individual people and families were integral in its construction and the work being done. Parallel that to the work of the church in today’s time and we see the resemblance. Not one person or one family is responsible for the work of the church. However, every person brings something to the table and has something to offer in doing this work. If you have time, read through 1 Corinthians 12.12-31. I hope that it will encourage you to be busy about the work with this local body.
