And now, a minute with the Word…

Psalm 26 presents David as an example of spiritual integrity, not based upon self-righteousness, but his sincere heart inclined toward God. He trusted the Lord, was guided by His truth, and was motivated by His mercy. That integrity was manifested in holiness — avoiding wicked men and remaining devoted to true worship. David’s love for God starkly contrasted with his rejection of evil. He was committed righteousness, standing firm in faith and praising the Lord among His people, and thus spoke confidently of God's salvation.
