And now, a minute with the Word…

Others often do forget, and we project their forgetfulness on God, but He is not them. Sometimes we ourselves forget too, and we project our own forgetfulness on God, but He is not us. He is God, and “God is not unjust to forget your work and labor of love which you have shown toward His name.” When your soul-winning plea is ignored, when your kindness is received rudely, when your goodness is treated godlessly, when you serve and sacrifice, and no one takes notice, take heart — God does not forget, so “do not become sluggish, but imitate those who through faith and patience inherit the promises.”
