In Philippians 1:27, Paul encourages the Philippians to stand fast in one spirit and with one mind strive together for the faith. This idea of stand fast carries with it the thought of sticking with it. Regardless of the obstacles that we face, we should keep the faith and stick with God’s word, for according to 2 Peter 1:3, He has given to us all things that pertain to life and godliness. 1 Corinthians 15:58 says, “Therefore, my beloved brethren, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your labor is not in vain in the Lord.”
