And now, a minute with the Word…

Within Jesus’ response to the Sadducees, He states that “God is not the God of the dead but of the living.” This has always been true. Consider the creation of man. Man was formed, but did not become a living being until God breathed the breath of life into him. Without God, there is no life. Without God, there is only death. We must always remember there is no life without God. There may be fulfilling, satisfying things on this earth. But they are temporary and not truly fulfilling. We must have the eternal lens of our existence. God offers life, outside of that is something truly terrifying and awful. To have life we must be in Christ.
