And now, a minute with the Word…

Our religious culture says, “All you really have to do is be a good moral person. If you want, you can attend whatever church you choose. One religious group is just as good as another. After all, there are good people in every religion.” But Acts 10 says differently. Cornelius was a moral and religious man, but he was not doing all that he should (verse 6). He was not saved, and for this reason he summoned Peter — to “hear words from [him]” (verse 22), “all the things commanded…by God” (verse 33), “words by which you and all your household will be saved” (Acts 11.13-14).
