And now, a minute with the Word…

If we did not know the rest of the story and read for the very first time the Lord’s words to Ananias, “Go, for he is a chosen vessel of Mine to bear My name before Gentiles, kings, and the children of Israel” (Acts 9.15), are Paul’s trials, imprisonments, and appeal to Caesar how we would expect that story to unfold? I doubt it, “‘For My thoughts are not your thoughts, Nor are your ways My ways,’ says the LORD. ‘For as the heavens are higher than the earth, So are My ways higher than your ways, And My thoughts than your thoughts’” (Isaiah 55.8-9).
