Unjust accusations, beating, attempted murder, unlawful arrest, kangaroo court, imprisonment, death threats, dishonest authorities, two years passed, conspiracy, more sham trials, and shipwreck. If we experienced everything that Paul suffered for the cause of Christ, what would we be found doing? “Then Paul dwelt two whole years in his own rented house, and received all who came to him, preaching the kingdom of God and teaching the things which concern the Lord Jesus Christ with all confidence” (Acts 28.30-31). Now that’s faith!
