And now, a minute with the Word…

Paul goes through a serious, but accurate depiction of mankind without an acknowledgment of God in the last half of this chapter. It culminates in verses 28-31 with a list of specific sins these immoral people commit. Verse 32, however, is where many Christians can fall into sin: by approving of those who practice these things. This approval happens when we don't heed verse 16 - when we do become ashamed of the gospel of Christ, and fail to stand for the truth. Let us never forget the words Paul tells Timothy in 2 Timothy 1:7: "For God has not given us a spirit of timidity, but of power and love and discipline."
