And now, a minute with the Word…

Verse 11 could be the central theme of this chapter: "There is no partiality with God." It does not matter to God what family we were born into, where we grew up, if we had Christians parents or did not, or even how long we have been a Christian. What matters to God is found in verse 29: a circumcised heart. God has always and will always want our hearts. We might be able to fool men with hypocrisy, like the Jews did, but we will not fool God. May we strive to give God our pure hearts every day, knowing that He will reward those who diligently seek Him - without partiality.
