And now, a minute with the Word…

This chapter begins with a call to be transformed out of this world as children of God. Verses 9-21 give many ways that we can do this. Love purely, show kindness, look for ways to help others, be humble - putting others above yourself, cling to what is good (even when around evil, even when mistreated, even when your world is not peaceful). Then verse 21 - overcome evil with good. If we practice these things, not only will we be transformed, but we will also all be working together in perfect unity for the Lord in the body of Christ. We can shine a bright light in this dark world when we do the things listed in this chapter!
