And now, a minute with the Word…

The phrase "put on the Lord Jesus Christ" brings to mind the image of putting on a shirt with Jesus' name on it. If we were to do that, then everyone would be able to see that we stand for Jesus: His truth, His teachings, and His example. How do we do this? We submit to God's authority, one way being that we submit to our governing authorities, no matter how evil they may be. Another way is to show a godly, Christlike love to everyone (remembering the parable of the Good Samaritan). A third way is to walk in the light. A question we should all ask ourselves is this: Can those around me see that I have put on the Lord Jesus Christ?
