And now, a minute with the Word…

I don’t want to try to provide commentary on these words, God’s words literally spoken by THE Word. Instead, ask yourself, am I poor in spirit? Am I mourning? Am I gentle? Do I hunger and thirst for righteousness? Am I merciful? Am I pure in heart? Am I a peacemaker? Am I persecuted or insulted for the sake of Jesus? Am I salty? Is my light shining? Do I both teach AND keep God's word? Am I guilty of anger or lust? Who do I need to reconcile with? What stumbling blocks are left in my life? What do I need to cut off? Is my marriage lawful in God’s eyes? Is my yes yes and my no no? Do I actually love and pray for my enemies?
