And now, a minute with the Word…

Jesus proves His authority to forgive sin by performing impossible feats. He gives a paralyzed man the ability to walk, He brings a dead girl back to life, He heals a woman of a bleeding disorder, and He gives sight to two blind men. These are all impossible acts of healing. Modern medicine cannot come close to this kind of healing. Only Jesus can do these things, and He does so with only His word or His touch…or the touch of His clothes! His incredible power to heal proves that He has authority to forgive sins. As He is healing every kind of disease and sickness He is preaching the good news of the kingdom. Is Jesus your King? Have you submitted to His rule and allowed Him to heal and forgive you? Am I working in His kingdom, am I spreading His good news to others?
