1 Peter 2
Series: 2023 Bible ReadingAnd now, a minute with the Word…
“If indeed you have tasted that the Lord is gracious” (1 Peter 2.3), then you must lay aside (verse 1), desire, grow (verse 2), offer up (verse 5), proclaim (verse 9), abstain (verse 11), conduct yourself honorably (verse 12), submit (verse 13), do good, silence (verse 15), honor, love, fear (verse 17), endure, suffer (verse 19), and follow (verse 21). God’s grace teaches us “to deny ungodliness and worldly desires and to live sensibly, righteously and godly in the present age” (Titus 2.11-12). “For you were like sheep going astray, but have now returned to the Shepherd and Overseer of your souls” (1 Peter 2.25).
