And now a minute with the word…

In John 9:6-7, Jesus encounters a man born blind. He spits on the ground, forms mud with his saliva, and anoints the man's eyes, instructing him to wash in the Pool of Siloam. This miraculous act serves as a reminder of the power of Christ's healing and restoration. This passage highlights the importance of obedience and faith as the blind man faithfully follows Jesus' instructions. He could have said, “Why would I do that?...just speak the words to heal me."  If he had, he wouldn’t have been healed. This serves as a reminder to us today that in order to receive the spiritual healing that the Lord can offer, we have to be able to set our own pride and selfishness aside and submit to the Lord.
