And now, a minute with the word…

“Bezalel, Oholiab, and all the skilled people are to work based on everything the Lord has commanded. The Lord has given them wisdom and understanding to know how to do all the work of constructing the sanctuary.” (Exodus 36.1) The importance of following the Lord’s commands in building the tabernacle was a crucial aspect of the work those Israelites did. Had they strayed from the commands they had been given, they would have been guilty of transgression against God. When God gives us commandments, we are to follow them. He expected it of his people then, and He expects it of us today. Let us be a people that always strives to do everything in accordance with what God has commanded.
