Week 7, Day 5 — A minute with the Word
Series: 2024 Bible ReadingAnd now, a minute with the word…
“The cloud covered the tent of meeting, and the glory of the Lord filled the tabernacle. Moses was unable to enter the tent of meeting because the cloud rested on it, and the glory of the Lord filled the tabernacle.” (Exodus 40.34-35). What an amazing sight this must have been. The glory of the Lord filling the tabernacle, being manifested through the cloud by day and the pillar of fire by night. If we are faithful, we too will be able to see the glory of God one day. In Revelation, John described the new Jerusalem as being arrayed with God’s glory. “He then carried me away in the Spirit to a great, high mountain and showed me the holy city, Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, arrayed with God’s glory.” (Revelation 21.10) As we close out the book of Exodus, let us look for ways that we can follow God’s commands, be who God has called us to be, and live a life pleasing to Him so that we too can experience His glory for all eternity.
