And now, a minute with the Word…

“When a prophet speaks in the name of the LORD, if the word does not come to pass or come true, that is a word that the LORD has not spoken” (Deuteronomy 18.22), but “when the word of that prophet comes to pass, then it will be known that the LORD has truly sent the prophet” (Jeremiah 28.9). “Forever, O LORD, your word is firmly fixed in the heavens” (Psalm 119.89), so “Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding” (Proverbs 3.5). “Every word of God proves true; he is a shield to those who take refuge in him” (Proverbs 30.5). “Trust in the LORD forever, for the LORD GOD is an everlasting rock” (Isaiah 26.4).
