And now, a minute with the word…

Deuteronomy 26.16-17 — “The Lord your God is commanding you this day to follow these statutes and ordinances. Follow them carefully with all your heart and all your soul. Today you have affirmed that the Lord is your God and that you will walk in His ways, keep His statutes, commands, and ordinances, and obey Him.”

The Israelites were commanded to carefully follow with all their heart and soul the law of Moses. They were to diligently apply themselves to keeping that law and abide by the commitment they made to serve God. I too have affirmed that the Lord is my God by committing my life to Him. Do I live like it? Do others around me know that I am a Christian who is living my life to please God?
