And now, a minute with the word…

David’s admonition to his son Solomon in 1 Chronicles 22.13 to be ‘strong and courageous’ harkens us back to the same admonition that God had given the Israelites through Moses and Joshua before they entered the Promised Land. We too need this encouragement as well. We are called to spread the Gospel to all of creation. We are called to be an ambassador for Christ. When we feel like our work is not amounting to much, or we feel discouraged, remember the encouragement that God is with us, and we need not be dismayed. We serve the Creator of the universe.
