And now, a minute with the Word…

“Hear the word of the LORD, O children of Israel, for the LORD has a controversy with the inhabitants of the land. There is no faithfulness or steadfast love, and no knowledge of God in the land” (Hosea 4.1). “My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge” (verse 6), “and a people without understanding shall come to ruin” (verse 14). “They know not the LORD” (5.4). The Lord said, “I will return again to my place, until they acknowledge their guilt and seek my face, and in their distress earnestly seek me” (verse 15). “Come, let us return to the LORD . . . Let us know; let us press on to know the LORD . . .” (6.1, 3).
