Week 33, Day 2 — Isaiah 4-6
Series: 2024 Bible ReadingAnd now, a minute with the word…
When Isaiah has his vision of the Lord seated on His throne, he is filled with a sense of awe at what he is seeing. He feels inadequate to see what he sees because he was a man of unclean lips and lived among a people of unclean lips (Isaiah 6.5). However, when God asks the question as to who will be sent to take His message to the people of Judah, Isaiah responds with “Here I am. Send me.” (Isaiah 6.8) God is asking us the same question today — who will go for Him? Who will take His message of salvation to those in need of it? What is keeping me from having the same response as Isaiah, ‘Here I am. Send me”? Is it family, friends, job, school, sports, apathy? Whatever is keeping us from willingly going and telling others about the Gospel, let us get rid of it. Let us have the attitude of Isaiah and go!
