And now, a minute with the Word…

The power of God, demonstrated in judgment upon various nations in Isaiah 13-23, is now brought to bear upon the whole earth in Isaiah 24 — no wickedness anywhere escapes the notice and judgment of the Almighty. But that same power, which brings judgment upon the evil, also delivers the righteous in Isaiah 25. “Behold then the kindness and severity of God” (Romans 11.22), “dealing out retribution to those who do not know God and to those who do not obey the gospel of our Lord Jesus, [who] will pay the penalty of eternal destruction…when He comes to be glorified in His saints on that day” (2 Thessalonians 1.8-10).
