And now, a minute with the word…

These chapters are full of so many warnings to false prophets and people who would try to lead the people into a lie. And while these warnings might feel scary and strict, God also says that if we are seeking him, we will find him. These false prophets were not seeking God, or else they would have found the truth, and we see in chapter 29 starting in verse 12, God says, “Then you will call upon me and go and pray to Me, and I will listen to you. And you will seek Me and find Me, when you search for Me with all your heart. I will be found by you, says the LORD, and I will bring you back from your captivity; I will gather you from all the nation and from all the places where I have driven you, says the LORD, and I will bring you to the place from which I cause you to be carried away captive.”
