And now, a minute with the word…

The character of God is full of grace and offering a path for us to follow. Chapter 21 and verse 8 says, “Now you shall say to this people, ‘Thus says the LORD: “Behold, I set before you the way of life and the way of death. He who remains in this city shall die by the sword, by famine, and by pestilence; but he who goes out and defects to the Chaldeans who besiege you, he shall live, and his life shall be as a prize to him.”’” The people might not’ve understood why God was asking them to leave and why that was the only path of life. While we might not understand, we can lean on God’s understanding. Proverbs 3:5 says, “Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him, And he shall direct your paths. Do not be wise in your own eyes; Fear the LORD and depart from evil.”
