And now, a minute with the Word…

In contrast to the chapters leading up to this, chapters 30-33 are full of God’s provision for those who will follow Him. He is the most just God. Psalm 33:5 says, “He loves righteousness and justice; The earth is full of the goodness of the LORD” — meaning he can lay out the most wrath and destruction for those who speak against Him, but He can also provide the most and give the most good for those who will follow Him. This is summed up in Jeremiah 31:28 — ““Just as I watched over them to uproot and to tear them down, to demolish and to destroy, and to cause disaster, so will I watch over them to build and to plant them.”
