And now, a minute with the Word…

In chapter 3, the fatherly instructor wrote “do not forget my teaching, but let your heart keep my commandments” (verse 1) and “trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths. Be not wise in your own eyes; fear the Lord, and turn away from evil.” (verses 5-7) There is great value in seeking the Lord and His wisdom! In chapter 4, the fatherly instruction continues, “be attentive to my words; incline your ear to my sayings. Let them not escape from your sight; keep them within your heart.” (verses 20-21) We are to listen and pay attention! The wise teachings provide guidance for every aspect of our life.
