Series: 2025 Bible ReadingAnd now, a minute with the Word…
In chapter 24, the wise man wrote “My son, eat honey, for it is good, and the drippings of the honeycomb are sweet to your taste. Know that wisdom is such to your soul; if you find it, there will be a future, and your hope will not be cut off.” (verses 13-14) Similarly, David stated in Psalm 19:10-11 concerning the rules of the Lord, “More to be desired are they than gold, even much fine gold; sweeter also than honey and drippings of the honeycomb. Moreover, by them is your servant warned; in keeping them there is great reward.” And James wrote in chapter 1, verse 25, “But the one who looks into the perfect law, the law of liberty, and perseveres, being no hearer who forgets but a doer who acts, he will be blessed in his doing.”
