And now, a minute with the Word…

In verses 17-32, there were three words that caught my attention. They were “consumed”, “delight”, and “cling”. When I read verse 20, I asked myself, “Is my soul consumed with longing for God’s rules all the time?” If it is not, why not? More importantly, what can I do to change that? When I read verse 24, I asked, “Do God’s testimonies delight me and do I allow them to be my counselors?” Finally, when I read verse 31 I thought, “Do I cling to God’s testimonies?” Do I hold on to them so tightly that no one can pull them from my grip? If not, I need to do some self examination and determine what changes are needed in my life to grow these mindsets.
