And now, a minute with the Word…

“The unfolding of [God’s] words gives light” (verse 130), and it has always been so. Genesis 1 — “In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth . . . And God said, ‘Let there be light,’ and there was light. And God saw that the light was good” (verses 1-4). John 1 — “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things were made through him, and without him was not any thing made that was made. In him was life, and the life was the light of men” (verses 1-4). In John 12.36, Jesus said, “While you have the Light, believe in the Light, that you may become sons of Light.”
