And now, a minute with the Word…

Psalm 12.6 — “The words of the Lord are pure words, like silver refined in a furnace on the ground, purified seven times.” (ESV)

God’s words can be trusted in EVERYTHING. They give us everything pertaining to life and godliness (2 Peter 1.3). His words are profitable for teaching, reproof, correction, and training in righteousness (2 Timothy 3.16). They are trustworthy and true; they tell us how we can be made right in the sight of God. Do not abandon or discard God’s words for the fleeting pleasure of sin. Satan wants you to abandon what God has said. He wants you to discard God’s words, just like how he tempted Eve in the Garden of Eden (Genesis 3.1-6). Don’t fall for his trickery.
